I'm Eva,

My professional career started by designing women’s and men’s textile products for renowned brands such as Gap, Sears, Target, Calvin Klein, Chico’s FAS, and White House Black Market. As a Textile Designer, I focused on creating all kinds of textiles that can be printed, woven, knitted, or embroidered onto apparel goods. My corporate experience led me to develop an eye for spotting trends, high-level styling, and how to interpret color.

My next adventure started as a professor teaching Abode software to college-level designers at the Ai School of Art in Chicago. I created a curriculum for a new fashion design degree with a concentration on graphic design by utilizing textile CAD, and Adobe Suit software with the aid of digital fabric printing.

My curiosity for textiles was still not fulfilled until I worked with an Interior Design Firm in Florida. As an Interior CAD Designer, I rendered 3D residential interiors. Closely worked with overseas vendors and manufacturers, sharing drawings, and manipulating images in Adobe to develop custom-design textile products. Most of my work entailed creating digital presentations depicting interior selections such as textiles, furniture, cabinetry elevations, tile floor plans, drapery, and lighting renderings for residential and developer clients.

I grew from a designer to a manager to a business owner, meeting departmental expectations and providing fast turnaround on tight deadlines and a high level of graphic quality output in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. And currently, I own and lead an interior design & remodeling firm, Soft & co. specialized in minimalistic residential designs. Our goals are to create beautiful, contemporary, and functional interiors that reflect unique personal and modern lifestyles. Helping clients visualize their interior space potential while orchestrating all aspects of design is an art that I am still perfecting. Now I can confidently say I am still learning about textiles and the world around them.
